Akcea approached my team needing a community hub for healthcare professionals wanting to broaden their knowledge of rare diseases. We created a bespoke hub with a future plan to add more and more rare diseases. The intention was that users would not only come to the site for references and information but could also contribute their own specialised knowledge helping grow the hub.
