Astellas launched a new drug (Xtandi) for patients diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer and wanted a patient support (end-of-life) platform to accompany the drug. This particular type of cancer is when cancerous cells have spread from the prostate to other parts of the body and are not possible to cure. However, this treatment can help slow the disease down and keep it better under control.

The goal was to support patients and their families with practical, emotional and educational support throughout their treatment journey. DISEASE&me aims to bring comfort and further support to both patients and carers alike during a very difficult and challenging time.
